The aluminum profile radiator mainly faces corrosion issues when used in alkaline water quality. According to China's heating water quality standards, for water treatment in boilers, the circulating water at a temperature of 95°C requires a pH of 10 to 12, and the alkalinity of the boiler water should be 8-20 mg equivalent/liter. This regulation aims to control the oxygen content in the feed water to protect the corrosion of pipelines and the boiler body; on the other hand, it helps to convert scaling substances into sediment to extend the boiler's service life. Otherwise, the water quality of the heating system being alkaline far exceeds the safe operating conditions for aluminum radiators.
